Kentucky family spared from tornadoes thanks to storm shelter

Their house didn't have a basement and there was no way to get below ground, except for one unique place just next door - a storm shelter.
The family invested in the pre-fab storm shelter 10 years ago. The shelter is 10 feet underground and 12 feet wide.
